Bride and Groom's First Dance |
Keep in mind when you will be
dancing. Traditionally, this dance is shared during
the meal-- after the salad course but before the
main course. If you chose to dance at this time,
a very traditional song should be played, most
likely something instrumental. A more contemporary
approach to the first dance tradition is for the
couple to begin the dance portion of the reception
by leading this slow dance. They can dance the
entire song alone, or shy newlyweds can have other
couples invited to join them after a minute or
two.

**Suggestion: What is the first
song that you two slow danced to? Traditionally,
this is "your song" and an excellent
choice for a first dance.
