Two?

Already? Where did the year go? My blue eyed, rock hard toddler thighed, squishy cheeked little boy is growing up.

A year ago, I could see his personhood emerging, but mostly it was his increasing physical skill that gave me pride. Now, he is becoming an independent thinker, one who knows his own mind and tries to change mine.

This time next year will surely sneak up on us just as quickly, but that doesn't make today less worth celebrating. Today, my baby is two.
